“I know it when I see it.”

Supreme Court Justice Stewart’s definition of “obscenity.”

What could be more exciting and scandalous? A gorgeous (36D-25-36), wildly enthusiastic, underage XXX star? Of course, no one knew (ha! ha!) I was 15 when I started. You might say I put the “baby” in baby boomer X-movies.

I was living with my mother’s ex-boyfriend who posed as my stepfather and got me false ID. I had the usual experiences growing up in a dysfunctional family: abortion, nervous breakdown, a run-away from home.

But I was an overnight bad girl celebrity, known especially for my first movie What Gets Me Hot! and then Talk Dirty To Me. By the time the feds caught up to me in 1986, I had appeared in over one-hundred “adult” films. Then it hit the fan!

Producers and agents were prosecuted and forced to remove hundreds of thousands of my videotapes from store shelves.  They lost millions but hey, know what I made for all the flicks plus a Penthouse centerfold gig? A measly $35,000. Even a teenager can’t live on that. I spend most of it on rent and drugs. And that black Corvette my boyfriend totaled. I was never charged because as a minor I was legally unable to give what they call “informed consent” (ha! ha! again).

If you want to catch me in my hot pre-legal boomer days, you’ve got to go outside U.S jurisdictions. Or (shoosh…) the Internet, where with a little creative searching you can find my old movies.

I made one film after my eighteenth birthday and sold it for $100,000. By this time, I was trying to become the first “crossover” celebrity to mainstream acting. I never tried to deny my past. As I told Opra: “You can run, but you can’t hide.” I did pretty well. I had parts in Cry-Baby, Blade, Tommyknockers, and Chump Change. For the last one I won a Best Actress Award at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. I’ve made lots of TV appearances including Married With Children, MacGyver, Gilmore Girls, and Will and Grace. I also have a recording career going.

My autobiography in 2003, Underneath It All, made the New York Times bestseller list.

I had my first child in 2007. Yes, I’m married. I’m really a traditional little boomer girl at heart. Answer at end of post.
